DÁVID KORONCZI (*1990) is an interdisciplinary artist and the assistant of Martin Piaček at Studio vvv, Department of Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. In both his artistic work and doctoral research, he explores the intersection of growing, cooking and eating with artistic strategies, including the creation of objects, audiovisual works, and storytelling. His works and performances were shown at Taipei Biennal, Oerol Festival, Kunsthalle Košice, Slovak National Gallery, LONGTERMHANDSTAND Hall Budapest, Hellerau Dresden and others. He lives with his partner, a project manager and aspiring veggie grower Martina Szabóová and their daughter in the city of Lučenec and village of Ratka, south Slovakia.
