Princesses, princes and all the fairies in between. We're here again, and as usual, it's going to smell just right! Here with me, as always on microphone 3, is the femme fatale from Michalovce, a prominent gossip girl of the Bratislava theatre scene, director and performer Lýdia Ondrušová and behind microphone 2 I greet you, the Slovak Hungarian from Fiľakovo, no.1 village flaneur and Erős Pista of the art scene Dávid Koronczi.

BRUCHOVRAVY is a format of a composed feast in which we try to link the accessibility of the experience of good food with the speculative, discursive or poetic nature of contemporary artistic strategies. It mixes the pleasure (but also the embarrassment) of communal dining with performativity and theatricality. The project wants to create a festive situation, focusing on the metabolic processes that actively connect us to the surrounding ecosystems.
For the tenth edition of this feast, we enlisted the art-critical smart-shittalking podcast Post! What? hosted by Dani Kálmán and Laura Petrus to spice up the cooking process. They know the visual arts and theatre from within as practitioners, but that doesn't stop them from properly roasting the stereotypes, dogmas and cynicism of their own scenes. With love, but hard. Combined with the raw materials and procedures that the BRUCHOVRAVY crew will prepare for the visitors, this evening we will touch together on topics such as the forms of performativity in the Slovak parliament, the role of the lángos in contemporary art, the sorrows and joys of parenthood in the conservative countryside, or sexual frustration as the worst ingredient for a Sunday soup. But!... It will be mostly, like all good art, about love and food.
